Be who
you are
and say
what you feel,
because those
who mind
don’t matter,
and those
who matter
don’t mind.

This is a blog about the oldest human addiction: control.
It’s co-authored by Steve, a therapist who specializes in control issues, and Bert, his control-addicted inner monkey.
(Bert is a metaphor. Steve’s mostly real.)

Mmm. Is that the one about “whom the lion eats”? You quote an interpretation, rather than a translation.

No idea. Any time I’ve read this it’s been presented out of context.
But the source doesn’t concern me much. I like the thought.

Gospel of Thomas, saying 70. Sorry, nothing to do with a lion. But I like the lion one two: saying 7: Jesus said, “Blessed is the lion that the human being will devour so that the lion becomes human. And cursed is the human being that the lion devours; and the lion will become human.” The whole thing is worth reading. All the sayings are without context.
